SureFast® Norovirus/Hepatitis A 3plex
1. Intended use
- The SureFast® Norovirus/Hepatitis A 3plex (code F7124) is a multiplex real-time RT-PCR for the direct qualitative detection and differentiation of norovirus (genogroup I and II) and hepatitis A.
- The test contains an Internal Control RNA (ICR, consisting of MS2-bacteriophage) as an internal control of sample preparation procedure and to monitor possible PCR-inhibition.
2. General information
- The real-time PCR assay can be used with established real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of three fluorescence emissions at 522 nm, 553 nm and 670 nm (FAM, VIC and Cy5) at the same time.
- The technical validation of instruments was performed on Agilent Mx3005P, BioRad CFX 96, Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Applied Biosystems 7500 and Qiagen RotorGene Q.
