Reaction procedure as follows:
When Prosox solution is added it releases ATP from somatic cells -> when Proase solution is added it degrades free ATP -> when Promex solution is added it releases ATP from microbial cells -> when Prolux solution is added it creates a luminescent reaction with the ATP released from the microbial cells and the instrument collects the light and expresses the result as RLU units.
The whole process from adding the reaction solution until the result is available is carried out automatically in the Promilite M4 system.

Scope of application:

Applies to milk/ soya milk production plants by the UHT/ESL sterilisation method
For testing finished-product samples that have passed the pre-incubation stage (2 or 3 days depending on the procedure). Conditions of application:
Factory with test sample numbers >50 samples/day (for the Promilite M4 series)
The instrument is placed in a laboratory with cleanliness controlled to microbiology-room standards.
