- We hereby release our new item series “Allergeneye Immunochromatography”. A rapid test for key food allergens that provides you with results within 1 hour. The tests offer a high level of sensitivity able to detect 2 ppm of allergenic protein in a food sample. Control of potential allergen cross contamination in food processing is a key responsibility. For your program to be effective, you need a fast and effective method to test for allergens onsite as part of your sanitation program. 

- The Allergeneye test is a rapid test that allows you to test for 9 key allergens in food with a high level of sensitivity.

1. Benefits

- Sensitivity  Able to detect 2 ppm of allergenic protein in a food sample.

Accuracy  More reliable for, especially in heated, boiled and pre-packaged foods.

3. Procedure

3.1. Step 1

- Prepare the specimen extraction solution.

- Add 10-time concentrated extraction solutions (1) and (2) to purified water and mix.

Homogenize the test sample.

Measure 1 g of the test sample into a 50 mL centrifuge tube.

Add 19 mL specimen extraction solution and mix.

- Heat it in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.

- Then cool it to room temperature.

- Filter the solution with a filter paper to obtain the test sample.

* [Only when testing for wheat] -> Dilute the filtrate 5 times with Specimen extraction solution to use it as the test sample.

Add 100 µL of the test sample to the detection reagent and shake to mix.

Insert a test strip and let it stand.

Pull out the test strip after 20 minutes to read the result.
