1. Intended use

- SureFast® Salmonella PLUS (product code F5111) is a real-time PCR kit for the direct, qualitative detection of DNA sequences specific to Salmonella spp. The SureFast® Salmonella PLUS real-time PCR test has been certified by AOAC and certified in combination with the SureFast® PREP Salmonella test kit (certificate number: 041103).

- Each reaction contains an internal amplification control (IAC).

2. General information

- The real-time PCR test can be used with real-time PCR instruments that are equipped to detect two fluorescence emissions in the FAM and VIC/HEX channels at the same time.

- Technical confirmation of the instruments was carried out on Agilent AriaMx, Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Applied Biosystems® 7500, Bio-Rad CFX96 and Bio Molecular Systems MIC. Internal technical verification of the instruments (not part of the PTM validation) was carried out on Roche LightCycler® 2.0, Roche cobas® z 480 Analyzer, Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q, R-Biopharm RIDA®CYCLER, Cepheid SmartCycler, LTF MyGo Pro and Agilent Mx3005P.

Giới hạn phát hiện

SureFast® PATHOGEN Salmonella PLUS real-time PCR có giới hạn phát hiện < 5 bản sao DNA. Giới hạn phát hiện của xét nghiệm phụ thuộc vào nền mẫu, cấp độ xử lý, chuẩn bị DNA và hàm lượng DNA.
