1. Intended use

- SureFast® Clostridium perfringens PLUS (product code F5123) is a real-time PCR kit for the direct, qualitative detection of the specific alpha toxin DNA sequence of Clostridium perfringens.

- Each reaction contains an internal amplification control (IAC).

2. General information

- The real-time PCR test can be performed with common real-time PCR devices equipped to detect two fluorescence emissions in the FAM and VIC/HEX channels at the same time.

- Technical verification of the devices was carried out on the Agilent Mx3005P, Agilent AriaDx, Applied Biosystems 7500, Bio-Rad CFX96, LTF MyGo, R-Biopharm RIDA®CYCLER, Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Roche cobas® Z 480 Analyzer and Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q.

SureFast® Clostridium perfringens PLUS real-time PCR có giới hạn phát hiện ≤ 5 bản DNA copies. Giới hạn phát hiện của xét nghiệm phụ thuộc vào nền mẫu, cấp độ xử lý, chuẩn bị DNA và hàm lượng DNA.
