1. Intended use

- SureFast® Clostridium botulinum Screening PLUS (F5110) is a real-time PCR kit for the direct, qualitative detection of the botulinum neurotoxins (BoNT) A, B, E and F specific DNA sequences of Clostridium botulinum, Clostridium baratii and Clostridium butyricum.

- Every reaction contains an internal amplification control (IAC).

2. General information

- The PCR test can be performed on common real-time PCR instruments equipped to detect two fluorescence emissions in the FAM and VIC/HEX channels at the same time.

- Technical confirmation of the instruments was carried out on the Agilent Mx3005P, Bio-Rad CFX96, Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Roche cobas® z 480 Analyzer, Roche LightCycler® 2.0, Applied Biosystems 7500, Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q, LTF MyGo Pro and R-Biopharm RIDA®CYCLER.

Giới hạn phát hiện

SureFast® Clostridium botulinum Screening PLUS real-time PCR có giới hạn phát hiện ≤50 DNA copies. Giới hạn phát hiện của xét nghiệm phụ thuộc vào ma trận mẫu, cấp độ xử lý, chuẩn bị DNA và hàm lượng DNA.
