Competitive enzyme immunoassay for the screening and quantitative determination of flumequine in various matrices.

General information:

Flumequine is a second-generation quinolone antibiotic with activity mainly against Gram-negative bacteria. In Europe, the maximum residue limits (MRLs) for flumequine range from:
- Muscle: 200 μg/kg
- Kidney: 1500 μg/kg.
The antiserum from EuroProxima is specific for Flumequine and does not cross-react with any of the other fluoroquinolones tested.
To detect most fluoroquinolones in a single assay, we offer the following broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone product lines: 5101FLUQG and 5101FLUQGII
