1. Intended use

- The Pictus 500 automatic biochemistry analyser is a benchtop instrument for fully automatic analysis of physicochemical parameters such as sugars, acids, alcohol,.... Especially suitable for automating Enzymatic assays in the Enzytec™ product line Liquid from manufacturer R-Biopharm.

- Application: The instrument is used to measure automatically physicochemical parameters such as sugars, acids, alcohol and other food components in many product types, including fruit juice, wine, beer, milk and dairy products, eggs and meat.

2. General information

- The Pictus 500 automatic biochemistry analyser can reach a total throughput of up to 340 samples per hour and comes with a full service package including the instrument, intuitive software running on Windows software, technical and application support, maintenance, reagents and verified applications.

- Constant process temperature at 37°C ensures optimal reaction conditions for every test.

- All assay-processing steps such as sample detection by barcode reader, sample dilution, liquid handling and preheating (sample/reagent), result reading by the optical method and result calculation are automated.
