4. Consumables to prepare
Depending on the mold toxin to be tested, each RIDA®QUICK test strip kit has its own instructions. However, these are the basic consumables to prepare:
📋 Suggested basic workflow (example: aflatoxin rapid test)
- Weigh the finely ground sample: 5 g
- Add extraction solvent (70% methanol) → shake for 5 minutes
- Add the mobile solvent supplied in the kit to the solution above.
- Filter the sample with filter paper or a centrifuge: to obtain a clear extract
- Drop a few drops of extract onto the test strip
- Insert the strip into the RIDA SMART BOX: the meter recognizes the result and displays it in the RIDA SMART APP
- Read the result displayed in the RIDA SMART APP.
