1. Principle of the Compact Dry medium plate

Compact Dry is a ready-made medium plate, pre-poured with freeze-dried agar, used for rapid bacteria testing in food. The Compact Dry medium plate, 50mm in diameter, uses a microorganism detection mechanism based on the reaction of enzymes produced by microorganisms during culture with specific substrates to produce colonies with characteristic colors.

2. Why choose the ready-made microbiological medium plates of Shimadzu (Nissui)

- The  Compact Dry plate is a plastic plate containing freeze-dried ready-made microbiological medium, pre-prepared with the same medium composition as traditional ISO methods, with improvements.

- With a small, compact design that saves incubator space; simple operation with no time spent on medium preparation -> improves labor productivity.

- Compact dry plates help reduce microbiological medium preparation time.

- Compact design, convenient for saving incubator space and easy to operate.

- Plates are stored at room temperature.

- Low cost and accurate results according to international standards: Iso 9001:2008, AOAC, MicroVal, NordVal.

- Suitable for many sample matrices: solid samples: meat, shrimp , fish, animal feed, milk, milk powder , liquid milk,... Liquid samples: domestic water, wastewater… by the direct method and the membrane filtration method

- Compact Dry medium plates manufactured by Shimadzu Nissui – Japan comply with the standard ISO 9001:2008; and most plate types have been certified by international organizations such as AOAC, MicroVal, NordVal, and especially the Ecoli Coliform indicator and the yeast and mold plate have been certified by Vietnamese standards.

- Nissui Compact Dry ready-made microbiological medium plates cover many types of bacteria: Ecoli Coliform, Total aerobic bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus, gut bacteria (Enterobacteriaceae)v Mold and mold, Listeria, Salmonella, Vibrio parahaemolyticus bacteria, bacillus cereus bacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria.
