- ATP Test (Kikkoman A3) is an advanced hygiene monitoring system developed by Kikkoman Biochemifa Co., Ltd. Designed for professional sanitation and cleaning teams, the system provides fast, accurate and objective verification of cleanliness by detecting ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) as well as ADP (Adenosine Diphosphate) and AMP (Adenosine Monophosphate) - the three main indicators of residual organic matter and microbial contamination.
- This broader detection range makes the system more reliable than conventional ATP tests, particularly in sensitive environments such as healthcare facilities, schools, food processing areas and commercial buildings. The product includes LuciPac A3 swabs (surface ATP swabs, Water ATP swabs and pre-wetted ATP test swabs) for sample collection, as well as the handheld Lumitester Smart photometer, giving results in just 10 seconds.
- The procedure is very simple: take a swab and swab the surface, insert the swab into the device and read the result ( measurement unit: RLU), which reflects the cleanliness of the surface after sanitation. These readings can be monitored through a mobile application, allowing customers to analyse trends, manage records and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
