In 2012, in order to support valued customers, Fluka added tens of thousands of new products and shortened delivery time.

In 2015, the US multinational Honeywell officially acquired Fluka from Sigma Aldrich. Fluka was previously a large business line of Sigma Aldrich; after Sigma Aldrich merged with Merck, Fluka officially set off to join Honeywell.

Fluka is famous for its solvent and inorganic chemicals. This deal allows the Honeywell group to offer customers a more complete product range and is built on the large investment portfolio from Burdick & Jackson® high-purity solvents and reagents, adding some of the most well-known and recognized industrial brands and is recognized ” .Darius Adamczyk said , chairman and CEO of Honeywell. This acquisition will allow Honeywell to offer a wider range of inorganic chemicals and solvents for various applications, from pharmaceutical detection to medical diagnostic testing.”

The product categories of Honeywell's Specialty Products segment now include 6 product lines: Fluka chemicals, reagents used for biochemical research and chemical and pharmaceutical applications; Hydranal Karl Fischer titration reagents used by laboratories to measure the moisture of liquids and solids; Chromasolv pure solvents enabling chromatography, a technique used to separate and analyze complex mixtures; Riedel-de Haën high-quality chemicals used in pharmaceutical manufacturing research and bioscience; Burdick & Jackson high-purity solvents, chemicals and chromatography products used for laboratories and pharmaceutical manufacturing; Sigma-Aldrich inorganic solvents sold in the European Economic Area (EEA).
Fluka chemicals are widely applied in fields such as: food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, crop protection, and analytical chemicals.
