1. What is the bactLAB software from Nissui?
The bactLAB software from Nissui is an application used to determine the number of bacteria (colonies) cultured in CompactDry™ using a smartphone
This is artificial intelligence (AI) application software that replaces the bulky colony counters used previously. Now all you need to do is download this app from CH PLay (on the Android operating system) or Apple's iOS operating system.
2. How to download the app:
- Go to the search toolbar (search), then enter the keyword "@bactlab" in the search bar.
- Press the install button and download it.
- Create an account on the bactLAB app and use it.
3. Operation when using bactLAB is extremely simple with the following 3 steps:
- Take a photo with a smartphone.
- Upload the image to a smartphone.
- The software will automatically count and calculate the number of colonies.

Currently, Nissui has developed an application that can read 6 parameters as follows:

4. Notes when using the bactLAB software:
- Take the photo in a white and simple place in a well-lit room.
