Company R-Biopharm AG was founded in 1988 as a subsidiary of the Röhm GmbH group based in Darmstadt, Germany. Since 1996, R-Biopharm has been awarded the international quality certification ISO 9001, and in 2003 was awarded ISO 13485 management certification. In January 2000, R-Biopharm was granted exclusive distribution of the Enzymatic BioAnalysis product developed by Roche. In 2002, the company R-Biopharm test kit acquired Rhône Diagnostics Technologies in Scotland, a manufacturer of mycotoxin test kits, successfully expanding into the field of food and feed analysis.
